HWÆT!

The Troth, an internationally known heathen non-profit organization, is in the midst of a massive upgrade to all of our systems. If you are a frequent visitor to this site, you already know that several links are no longer viable, that this site is not currently very user-friendly, and that much of the data you are used to finding here may appear "missing in action." If you are brand-new to this site, you are about to find out all of the same things.

Please keep stopping by! And, as they say in the web-world, please "Pardon Our Dust!"

Our ICO and his team of programmers, graphic designers, and web-wights are actively working to bring us a modern, up-to-date interface that will bring The Troth into the twenty-first century. We will have a fully integrated database, multi-level access for Troth Members, and will have a growing presence available for non-members as well. Our goal, as always, is to be a resource for modern Heathenry, and I am confident that you will soon discover an entirely new system here in The Troth, one that has folded in our old content with new, up-to-date content and more.

At this time, I would like to make a few quick announcements:

  1. WE HAVE MOVED! The Troth has moved to a new, permanent mailing address. Please use the following for any correspondence:

    The Troth
    24 Dixwell Ave, Ste 134
    New Haven, CT 06511
  2. PAYPAL IS OPERATIONAL! We are not providing a link directly to our account until the new web site rollout, but you can send memberships, renewals, and orders for Troth materials and pay for them via PayPal. Please visit PayPal's main site, and enter the email address: troth-contact@thetroth.org. That's us!
  3. TROTHMOOT 2009 will be held in Virginia. Our Trothmoot Committee Chairwoman, Tanya Peterson, has mailed in the application for the camp site and given a set of preferred weekends, mostly in early June. As soon as we have confirmation from the camp site, we will be posting dates and more!
  4. COME VISIT - we now have internet presences via MySpace, PaganSpace we're beginning to upload content onto our YouTube Channel Look for more to come as we take our organization forward into the future.
  5. EMAIL US! The best way to contact us is still via troth-contact@thetroth.org.

Finally - a personal thank you to all those members who have stuck by this organization through thick and through thin. All organizations are as strong as their members - and I remain proud and thankful to stand in your company, all my fellow Trothers. It's been a frustrating time for all of us, and we have truly shown what it is to remain loyal to one another, to show one another the graciousness of heathen hospitality, and our organization has grown depsite - and in some ways, because if - its trials. As we lie in port, repairing rent sails, stocking supplies, and readying ourselves for the sea-road ahead, I lift my horn say a hearty hail to all of you, my fellow travellers!

In Frith and Pride -

Patricia Lafayllve
Steerswoman, The Troth.
