Troth Clergy Program Table of ContentsUpdated 28 July, 2004: While the clergy program is still undergoing revision, the program has officially been re-opened as of 7 June, 2003, and an application form is now available on the appropriate page. New versions of the below materials will be posted here as soon as they become available, if it is determined that those materials will remain publically available. News! PDFs of material from a clergy manual newer than what's up on the site are now currently available for general download. These are from the current paper version of the Clergy Manual, which is what is under revision, and should be considered more current than the HTML documents available here. Not everything is current, so if there are any questions, please contact troth-contact (or your Guide if you're already in the program) if there are questions. - Table of Contents
- Clergy Handbook This has everything in it but the section on counselling, which is only made available to persons actually participating in the Clergy Program.
If you're interested in applying to the clergy program, you should bear in mind that you must be a Full Member of the Troth in order to apply -- in other words, you must have been a member for at least one full year. You should also bear in mind that the clergy training program involves working one-on-one with a Guide. Your admission to the program may be have to be delayed if there is a shortage of available Guides. For more information, contact Rod Landreth, the Secretary of the clergy program, in care of troth-contact@thetroth.org. |
